ITT Technical Institutes to Begin Offering New Bachelor Degree Program in Construction Management

Oct 19, 2006

Twenty-two ITT Technical Institutes across the country have received the necessary regulatory approvals to begin offering a new bachelor degree program in Construction Management within the School of Drafting and Design.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, employment opportunities for construction managers are expected to exceed the number of qualified individuals seeking to enter the occupation through 2014.

ITT Tech's Construction Management program is designed to provide students with a foundation in construction management, construction techniques, and legal issues relating to construction management. The program helps graduates prepare for careers involving construction estimating, construction safety, construction project management, or building code compliance. Graduates will be able to pursue such entry-level positions as construction supervisor, construction cost estimator, construction scheduler, and project manager.
